Setup in 3 steps

Get your MCP server URL

In clipsilo, go to Settings → Integrations → Claude MCP. Copy your unique MCP server URL and API key. Each workspace has its own scoped endpoint.

Add to Claude's MCP configuration

In Claude Desktop or your MCP-compatible client, add clipsilo as an MCP server using your URL and key. Claude will discover available tools on the next launch.

Claude can now browse and retrieve assets

Once connected, Claude has live access to your approved content library. It can search by metadata, retrieve specific assets, and check approval status — all from within a conversation.

Search your asset library

"Find all approved product photos from Q4" — Claude queries clipsilo and returns matching assets with metadata.
Retrieve specific assets

"Get the latest logo files" — Claude fetches the asset records and signed URLs directly from your clipsilo workspace.
Check approval status

"Is the new campaign video approved for distribution?" — Claude checks the asset's approval workflow state in real time.
